A real reel : Raanjhana

So finally after decades of movie watching and countless check-ins, I thought lets do something constructive this time. A blog that displays my take on movies. Since I happen to watch almost all the movies so you will find reviews, ratings,but not the story(I am not the spoiler) and some cheeky stuff (cant help it) about the movies.

I hate being traditional or conventional blogger so ill write my way i.e. "FUNWAY". You are most welcome to comment share your reviews, write any rubbish about movie(not me huuh). 

So lets get started ,

Actors worth Watching: Dhanush as Kundan, Zeeshan Ayyush as Murari, Swara Bhaskar as Bindiya, Abhay Deol as Jasjeet

Actors to ignore : Sonam Kapoor as watever.

Best Time to go for popcorn or restroom: First half complete no, interval is the most apt time but still you can move after major twist in second half.

Best Company to watch : Family, Friends, Spouse, dogs basically anyone except kids(due to language)

Genre: Love, Romance,drama and bits&bytes of humor.

My Take

The movie set in Banaras is true to the land, the culture & the nuances are all real and believable. If you like intelligent direction, this one is a sure watch. Dhanush as an actor proved himself again, I was listening to his interview where he said "since I am not goodlooking I need to act" which is quite evident in the movie. So unlike typical hero he earns respect through his acting. Two more actors who you cant miss but notice are swara(bindiya) and zeeshan(murari). They acted without any inhibitions, and they are the one who will give you humor in the movie. Abhay deol playing a small cameo infact really small one. He seriously needs to loose weight(like I do).

The USP of the movie is Dhanush and the dialogues. The story of movie is better than the all the crap stories round the corner and the acting and screenplay makes it even better. 

The only person who is not natural in movie is sonam kapoor. Being the main protagonist she is not able to pull it off like she should have.While Dhanush grows in time leaps, the change in sonam kapoor is all about hair and dresses .  May be she followed the principle "Since I am pretty and dress well, I dont need to act". Anyways she can be avoided easily.

The movie maintains a healthy balance between humor and senti-ism ( I know thats not a word). So whether you are senti types or fun types you gonna love the movie. The music again is an integral part, thankfully not many proper songs the music is well fitted in story.

I would give this movie a thumbs up ( as if you really care :p ).  

My Pick for great Dialogues

There are so many one liners but my pick are:

1. Saala 7.5 saal me to shani bhi peecha chod deta h... ise to 8 9 saal ho gae
2. "Mere piche scooter mei baithna padega. Main break maarunga toh mujhpe girna padega. Mere saath naachna-gaana padega. Girlfriend na sahi..feel hi dede"
3. "Pyaar na hua, UPSC ka imtihan ho gaya. Dus saal se paas hi nahi ho raha."
4.  The last dialogue of the movie(better watch the movie to listen it).
